*An unlimited building license issued by the State of NC means that the builder-applicant is not limited to the value of the project and has provided proof that assets exceed liabilities by $150,000. A Limited License is restricted to projects not exceeding a value of $500,000 and an Intermediate License is restricted to projects not exceeding one million dollars. Proof of financial stability is required to obtain any building license.
